Wayland residents celebrate Bastille Day with French in Acton

WAYLAND – A group of 25 adult students and friends of French in Acton, the French language school in Acton, commemorated the French Independence Holiday on July 16. These French students and Francophiles celebrated Bastille Day with a three-course meal at The Local Table in Acton.

The group dined on salade niçoise, boeuf bourguignon, and crème brulée. The evening was highlighted by French conversation and cheer, as well as the traditional flag waving and singing of La Marseillaise, the French national anthem, led by Larry Krakauer of Wayland.
