French language and culture is alive and well in the western suburbs of Boston.
This was evident on France's Independence Day, Bastille Day, July 14. French-speaking students and friends of French in Acton, a popular French school in Acton, gathered at AKA Bistro in Lincoln to celebrate Bastille Day.
Decorated with French flags and miniature Eiffel Tower replicas, AKA Bistro was the perfect setting for this enthusiastic group of Francophiles who hailed from 10 surrounding towns. AKA Bistro General Manager, Christian Touche, oversaw a delectable three-course French meal, accompanied by French wine, as well as French conversation and cheer.
